Citizens for a Secure and Safe America has awarded the former Syrian Prime Minister and former President of the Syrian High Negotiations Commission, Riad Hijab, the prestigious “Above and Beyond 2020” Award.
Citizens for a Secure and Safe America is an American non-profit that promotes democratic change in Syria so citizens can live in a free, secular, and prosperous country.
In a letter sent to Dr. Hijab, the organization said that it had selected Dr. Hijab for going well above and beyond in the pursuit of a free, stable, and democratic Syria.
“We chose you,” the organization said in a letter addressed to Hijab, “for going well above and beyond in the pursuit of a free, stable, and democratic Syria. The conference, entitled ‘Post Caesar: A Free United Syria Underway’ will be attended by the leadership in the Syrian American and Syrian diaspora community.”
